- Dizzy, drunk and blind, like hungry heavy headed birds that await their mother to return, mouths wide open pointed upwards their large droopy eyes shut. Their mouths dry out in the wind, occasionally closing to moisten their exposed trachea, their lips often snag on their dry teeth. Their bodies look flush and healthy but to the touch they reveal a thick skin around a hollow core. They seem to be toddlers dressed in one-piece padded foot pajamas, their double butts being the only region to offer resistance. They lack ears and their feet barely touch the ground increasing their instability and awkwardness. They wander around aimlessly each foot appearing to contradict the movement of the other causing them to spin in circles not realizing that they haven’t moved anywhere for hours at a time. Often they will cluster together and when doing so begin to chirp, huddling and moving around they form a large undulating and pulsing field of mouths. They appear to be in a constant state of hunger and boredom. To sleep they collapse, their legs splitting and their foreshortened arms serving as props to support their necks. Their mouths tilt back slightly but keeping their mouths shut expends too much energy and they often awake in the middle of the night coughing and gasping, their night of sleep is a fitful night. There is little communication between the two heads, it is their unlucky lot that they share one body.
